About Mac Swanson
Mac Swanson is a playmaking forward headed into his sophomore season at the University of North Dakota after a dominant USHL run with the Fargo Force. In 2023–24 he posted 77 points (26 G, 51 A) in 55 games, led the league in assists, was named USHL Player of the Year and Forward of the Year, and earned Clark Cup Playoffs MVP honors. Swanson translated that vision to the college game as a freshman, appearing in all 38 games and finishing with 18 points (2 G, 16 A). Drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2024, the Anchorage native is known for elite passing, high hockey IQ, and a knack for creating chances.
